Hi@all,
i want to share my very successful fluid simulation. Can groove music play flac.
I did this to test how the fluid is working together with the new renderengine Cycles.
For your information you need to bake the fluid and the rendering per frame is very long.
Here you can find the complete video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3acQ5dDKEs&hd=1
Swamp Simulator Mac Os
- I admit its an excellent render.just try doing this in blender internal renderer and i will be most impressed. I dont think its even possible to get that effect without using external renderers like cycles. However, i might be wrong. Anyway, i wanted to say something critical that you probably already know. Its not very interesting.a tank with water coming out of a pipe in a white room.

@Jacksonml yes this is the file from the youtube video. Download and enjoy this is a gift for the community.@BonimoroniCycles is not an external renderer it is total implemented since version 5.61. Regarding the scene yes it is nothing special i wrote also on youtube the key why i did this is. I am very roocky in Blender and i tested the fluid simulation in combination with cycles. And when you go to youtube it is really strange you can not find many good fluid simulation.Anyway enjoy and thank you for the feedback.Andy

Areanders, I am also very impressed with this work you have done with Blender Cycles. I watched on Youtube also. Thanks for the Blend File. I have been playing around with water too .. mind you I haven't got it to look like yours. Thanks Joe.

I have trying to get fluid to flow through pipes and other obstacles for over a year now and I can't figure it out. I know uses bounding boxes, How do I get it to follow mesh?
- areandresWritten August 08, 2012
Try to use mesh in the obstacle menue or try to use both ans option. It is a lot of test to find out the correct options for the fluid. In this animation it was not realistic enough normaly the pipes are not so full see my latest version this is more realistic.

When I tried to render it I got a black screen with white dots. I didn't change anything, just opened up the file and clicked render image. I am using blender 2.63. Help!
- areandresEdited August 08, 2012
It is important that you bake the fluid before rendering. The file need to tweak a little because the blender versions change a lot after upload my scene.

Just for others, I had to delete the domain (in the tree, select and 'delete hierarchy') and re-add it to the scene before it would let me bake.
